Roda de Berà Library

The Cal Guivernau building is located in the heart of the historic center, between two important squares on either side of the construction.
The proposal for the new library stems from the desire to strengthen the relationship between both squares, so that the building allows the connection of the two open spaces while creating an integrative interior space: a passage.
This new interior passage, in addition to becoming a third street, acts as a focal point for the citizens of Roda — a place that invites people to move through and enter the library.
