Town Hall Square

The project opens up a large space in front of the main façade of Les Franqueses del Vallès Town Hall, where the Barcelona road originally passed. The road is diverted to the rear façade, skirting the Town Hall, thus freeing up the area under study. The square is structured as a wide and open space that focuses all attention on the Town Hall façade, where all the formal and decorative elements are representative of Modernisme. The square also includes a sculptural ensemble that represents the town’s different economic activities: agriculture, industry, commerce, and technical services.
